Once again, Starbucks Philippines introduced two new featured frappucino beverages ahead of the 2nd Anniversary of the Starbucks Card in the Philippines. The summer beverages, The Dark Mocha Panna Cotta and the Summer Berry Panna Cotta, were so good that they've set the bar quite high in terms of new, delicious frappucino beverages.
I had the opportunity to try the Honeycomb Crunch Mocha Frappucino and Orange Honeycomb Crunch Frappucino earlier today. Do they live up to the hype?
Honeycomb Crunch Mocha (Tall - ₱165, Grande- ₱175, Venti - ₱185)
Decadent Mocha Frappuccino® is layered with golden crunchy honeycomb, whipped cream and chocolaty drizzle to create a multi-textured & well-balanced cool beverage treat
The first thought that came to mind when I tried the Honeycomb Crunch Mocha Frappucino was 'TOO SWEET'! In every sip, you get a decadent serving of mocha paired with the striking sweetness of the honeycomb syrup. It's too sweet for me, so I probably won't order this again. I prefer the smooth and balanced of a good Dark Mocha Frappucino.

Orange Honeycomb Crunch Cream (Tall - ₱165, Grande- ₱175, Venti - ₱185)
This beverage combines smooth and creamy Frappuccino® together with citrusy and fragrant orange sauce made with real orange bits. This is then finished with whipped cream, crunchy honeycomb and a swirl of tangy orange drizzle.
The Orange Honeycomb Crunch Cream Frappucino was actually quite good. As a warning, this is a cream-based drink so don't order this when you're looking for a drink with caffeine - you won't get any. If you are looking for a new, unique frappucino beverage then by all means get the Orange Honeycomb Crunch. It's also a bit sweet, but I like this better than the Honeycomb Crunch Mocha.
It was delicious and unique in that normally you won't find any citrucy blended drinks in Starbucks. If you love tangy beverages, this one's for you!
