Here's How You Can Cook Those Veggies Perfectly


Vegetables are considered to be an important part of an overall healthy diet and they even help prevent a number of diseases. They are so crucial that Harvard's healthy eating plate recommends that the biggest portion - around 40% - of your plate should consist of veggies.


It's very easy to cook vegetables. You can steam vegetables, one of the easiest and quickest ways to cook them. If you don't have a stove, then you can always use the microwave. If you always overcook those veggies, then you need to keep on reading.


Here is a great infographic that shows you the amount of time needed so that you can perfectly cook vegetables in the comfort of your own home. Don't forget to season with salt and pepper once they're done!

There's no reason for your to burn vegetables anymore, it's time to eat more of them. Try to flavor your vegetables with more than just salt and pepper and make sure it is a perfectly balanced dish.

  1. When I cook vegetables, I usually check them with a fork to see if they have already softened. Not good because I keep opening the lid and the nutrients evaporate.

    I agree that eggplants are not be boiled; it will just absorb the water that it already has in great content.

    Glad you shared this. It gives me an idea how to time my cooking.

This is so that I won't waste any ingredients, so it's always better to learn as much as you can and then apply it to food.
