I personally check Zomato, an app where you can find trusted restaurant reviews from fellow foodies, every day. I also use a number of apps for social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Flipboard), count my steps using Pacer, shop using Lazada, and of course have food delivered right to my doorstep with Foodpanda.
While I personally love cooking at home or eating out in restaurants, there are times when having food delivered just makes loads of sense. Food delivery can save you time and even money (ehem Foodpanda vouchers).
Here are 5 occasions where an app like Foodpanda can come in handy:
1. When You're Pressed for a Deadline
Ah yes, you don't have baon and you need to submit that urgent report to your boss at 5pm. You don't have time go out and you also can't line up at the cafeteria because you know it'll waste valuable minutes of your time. You're not even halfway done with your reports. What do you do?
Have food delivered of course! Well, at least with Foodpanda you can have food delivered with a couple of clicks right at the palm of your hand and saving you valuable time to finish that report.
2. When You Live in the Middle of Nowhere
Sometimes, fate can be quite harsh on us. You live in the middle of a subdivision or on a location that is just too far away from where the restaurants are. You can't find anything you'd want to eat in your pantry. What do you do?
You know the answer to that, have food delivered!
3. When It's Almost Midnight and It's Scary to Go Out
If you live in Metro Manila, safety can be a major issue. If you're hungry and you just ran out of your stash of pancit canton or canned goods in the pantry. It's quite dangerous for you to go out and grab some grub. The restaurants that are open may be too far away. What do you do?
Well, it's another perfect time when food delivery can help save the day.
4. When You Invite Friends Over and You're Too Lazy to or Can't Cook
Have the entire barkada coming over and you don't know how to feed them? What do you do?
Well, you can simply have food delivered so that you guys can already have some beer and a nice conversation at the comfort of your own home. You don't have to worry about cleaning up or going out somewhere far away just to have some quality food. Just have it delivered!
5. When You Want Good Food and You Only Have an Hour for Lunch
We're faced with this dilemma every day. You're craving for a quality dish from your favorite restaurant that you can enjoy for lunch but it's 20 minutes away and the company you work in is very strict about lunch time. What do you do?
Well rather than you going out looking for quality food, this is the perfect time for food to come to you instead! Have your favorite dish delivered instead. With Foodpanda, you can order from over 1,000 restaurants online.
So what are you waiting for, download the Foodpanda app on your smartphone or go to their website to order your first dish.

This works especially if you're working in Makati on a day shift. Most of the dining places are packed during lunchtime. It's a hassle to squeeze yourself in to order your food and find a good spot to enjoy your lunch.
