Wildflour Cafe + Bakery: Where Brunch Meets Perfect

Wildflour Cafe + Bakery: Where Brunch Meets Perfect

Wildflour Cafe + Bakery is one of the hottest restaurants in Metro Manila. I have eaten here multiple times and they never fail to impress with their delicious, perfectly-cooked food, amazing service, and comfortable interiors.

I can't get enough of their tasty homemade bread, coffee, breakfast plates, and tartes flambe. They also serve some delicious homemade bread as an appetizer while you are still waiting for your food that I love to butter up and add a pinch of salt so that they're just perfect.

We were able to enjoy the Mussels and Fries (Php 450), an amazing dish that just brings you back to the ocean. The garlic, butter, and parsley in that bowl packs a whole lot of flavor (especially towards the bottom of the bowl). The mussels were perfectly cooked and had a really fresh and vibrant taste that I enjoyed. The fries were a nice side, but the mussels was the star here.

I have tried their Kimchi Fried Rice (Php 495) as well and I'm not a fan. People who know me also know not to feed me Kimchi, so maybe it's just me. The braised beef brisket was pretty delicious on it's own.

The Bacon and Gruyere Cheese Tartes Flambe (Php 450) is my Wildflour favorite dish. I particularly loved the beautiful combination of the sweetness coming from the caramelized onions with the saltiness from the cheese. It also had loads of bacon in it, so I'm not sure how you can go wrong with bacon and cheese. It's perfect for sharing!

While enjoying the flambe, I would recommend you pair it with a delicious Wild Mushroom Salad (Php 230). The mix of arugula with the wild mushrooms and the crunch from pistachios are just heavenly. I'm not usually one to rave about salads, but I'm raving about this one.

The Vietnamese Latte (Php 130) is another winner - a good bittersweet drink to enjoy with a hot, delicious breakfast. I also tried their Moka Java Pour Over Coffee (Php 135) and Cappucino (Php 120), and I can confidently say that they are pretty good.

It's not the best coffee I've tried but definitely way above-average.

One tip you should remember is that all breads and pastries are sold at 50% off after 7pm. So if you're looking for a breakfast treat at home, then pick up some of these delicious Wildflour creations before heading home. You won't regret it.

The waiters are very attentive every time we ate at Wildflour, which I find to be fantastic. They just go ahead and fill up your glass of water when it's about half-full. They are also quite friendly, so it's really a top-notch overall experience. As for the ambiance, well one look at the beautiful, cozy interiors and you'll see why I gave a perfect grade. You can really just hang out at the cafe while enjoying a cup of coffee all day.

Food Quality: 5.0
Service Quality: 5.0
Ambiance: 5.0

Overall Quality: 5.0

The only complaint I have is that it's always full, but that's the result of Wildflour being such a great place to eat in!
