Noodles Everyday: A Chinese Noodleshop for People Who Love Hand-Pulled Noodles

I learned about Noodles Everyday after stumbling upon a feature from Pepper.ph entitled "A Noodleshop Called “Noodles Everyday” Brings a Taste of Binondo to Makati". I live in Makati so the article convinced me to give the place a try. It's said that their chef is a hand-pulled noodles specialist from mainland China, so I was quite intrigued.

Here's what you can find in Noodles Everyday...

I ordered the Everyday Special Ramen (Php 168), their best-selling noodle soup filled an assortment of chicken balls, beef balls, squid balls, and wanton. To be honest, I thought the soup was decent but it lacked flavor. I loved the wanton and beef balls, but I do hope that the broth does have a bit more to it.

The Braised Beef Rice (Php 130) was so much more flavorful then the soup. I loved how the beef has a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness to it. This was quite tasty and I can imagine myself coming back for the beef.

I was also able to try the Crispy Pork Chop Rice (Php 130) and the Sweet & Sour Pork Rice (Php 130). I loved the Sweet  & Sour Pork Rice and I thought it was quite a nice home-made dish. I'd order that again too.

I loved the beef so much that I actually tried the Braised Beef Tossed Ramen (Php 138), which is somewhat like a Chinese-style pancit. True enough, the beef was once again had this melt-in-your-mouth texture. I love how they cooked the beef, as it pairs really well with the firm noodles on the plate.

The noodles were good, I like how it isn't mushy at all similar to what you'd find in some noodles and ramen houses.

The ambiance was really just the typical Binondo-style restaurant. It's was a lot cleaner than what you would find in Binondo though. The staff were polite and they happily answered any of my questions.

Food Quality: 3.5
Service Quality: 3.5
Ambiance: 2.5

Overall Quality: 3.5

Overall, I thought the service was pretty good and the ambiance was decent. It might be a good restaurant if you are looking for some authentic Chinese dishes. The food isn't anything special in my opinion.
