10 Healthy Foods That Should Be Part Of Your Daily Diet

Health and proper nutrition has recently been topic of focus of this blog, and for good reason. I'm passionate about food but I would also like to influence you, my readers, to live a healthier life. I'm not perfect. I eat Crispy Pata, Sisig, Lechon, Cake, and fast food just like everyone else. While I don't always eat clean, I do preach moderation - It's important for you to balance unhealthy meals with healthy ones.

Of course, we know that vegetables are good for us. That's one piece of nutrition advice that parents have passed on through generations of kids. Rather than a general statement, I think it's best if we know exactly what we should be eating.

Here's a list of healthy food that you should eat everyday. It's not a complete list and I think it lacks coffee, oatmeal, spinach (and kangkong), honey, and a lot of other healthy ingredients. It's a good list though to get you started.

If you ask me, the ones that are regularly part of my diet are green tea, tomatoes, eggs, dark chocolate and olive oil. I do eat peanuts daily and I think walnuts are too expensive (in the Philippines).

I hope this inspires you to incorporate these healthy ingredients into your diet. Don't forget to share it with your friends!

This post is part of a series on Essential Infographics For Serious Foodies.
