The Ultimate Healthy Grocery List

There are people who say they want to take better care of themselves and live a healthy lifestyle. Now, there are two parts to that equation: a healthy diet and daily exercise. I don't know about you, but in my opinion it's a lot easier to eat healthy than have a 1-hour session in the gym.

In order to help you eat food that's actually good for you, here's a grocery list from shape.com that shows you a list of ingredients you should pick up the next time you visit the supermarket. I'm hoping this can get you in the habit of buying food that's healthy.

If you notice, this list does not have chips, sodas, chocolates, beer, and processed meat in this list. It's not bad to eat these once in a while, just don't make it into a habit. Your worst enemy? Food rich in sodium, fat, and sugar. So for ingredients not on the list, try to use your better judgement and get ingredients that are low amounts of sodium, fat, and sugar. Better yet, stick to your local supermarket's 'Fresh' section.

Pick up these healthy ingredients on your next trip to the grocery. Your body will thank you for it. Don't forget to share it with your friends!
