Pepperoni Pizzeria: Have a Taste of Their Delicious November Treats at the Newly Opened UP Town Center Store

It hasn't been a year since Peperoni Pizzeria opened their maiden Philippine store, bringing along their huge 21" thin-crust, wood-fired pizzas for our dining pleasure, and yet the Singapore-based pizza franchise is quickly opening up new stores all across Metro Manila. They recently opened a new store at the UP Town Center along Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City so that more pizza lovers can get their hands on the delicious, high-quality, thin-crust pizza that Peperoni Pizzeria is known for.

I previously wrote about how delicious Peperoni Pizzeria's pizzas are because of how much care they put in preparing their signature homemade dough and only topping it off with the best quality ingredients - with each pizza carefully balanced to let the flavors shine through. This time, we had a taste of their limited edition dishes that will only be available this November. Trust me, THESE ARE SO YUM! Highly recommended!

Here's a sneak peak of these delicious new dishes...

The UP Town Center store is beautiful and spacious. The interiors adopts the same casual feel of their original store - one that's bright, clean, and doesn't feel like a fast-food joint.

The limited edition dishes will only be available during this November. These are the Foie Gras Pizza, Funghi e Tartufo, and Portobello Funghi Pizza. These pizzas are topped with some very sought after ingredients, from fresh Portobello mushrooms to the French-favorite, luxury ingredient Foie Gras.

I hope they extend the dishes all the way until the end of the year, because these are absolutely delicious. I think I'm getting way ahead of myself.

The Foie Gras Pizza (Php 890) is definitely my favorite out of the three limited edition dishes. This pizza is a tasty blend of foie gras, button mushrooms, parma ham, egg, onions, spinach, and with a dash of truffle oil. I really love the crust and the combination of egg, foie gras, button, mushrooms, parma ham, and spinach was just so good that I couldn't stop eating. I was salivating just by looking at the pizza, and the first bite certainly met every expectation I had.

I found it a bit salty because there was a lot of parma ham (not complaining here) so I thought it needed a few sprinkles of chili flakes to balance it out a bit. You don't really need it because this is already an AWESOME pizza, but it adds a nice spicy kick.

The Funghi e Tartufo (Php 440) was so creamy and full of mushroom flavor that I couldn't stop myself from going in for another bite. If you love mushrooms then you'll surely love how the sauteed shiitake mushrooms and button mushrooms is really sings in your palate. The truffle cream sauce brings it all together creating such a crave-worthy dish!

We loved it so much that we just had to get a second serving! This dish is a mushroom-lovers dream come true.

The Portobello Funghi Pizza (Php 595) was a nice mushroom-flavored pizza that's topped with portobello mushrooms, tomate concasse, scallions, egg, and with a small drizzle of truffle oil. Personally, I thought it needed a bit more salt and chili flakes (which you can add to taste at your table) and it didn't have as much a wow factor as the first two dishes.

It's nice to order because it highlights the deliciousness of fresh portobello mushrooms and it is great for a bit of variety, but I personally recommend the first two dishes over this one - but maybe that's just my personal preference. Try it out and tell me what you think.

The Creme Brulee (Php 240) is not a limited edition dish, but it's definitely delicious. I loved the creamy lightness of the vanilla custard. The best part about it is that you can actually see little black vanilla seeds in the custard, proof that Peperoni Pizzeria uses actual vanilla pods (and not cheap artificial flavorings) to make this lovely dessert.

Food Quality: 4.0
Service Quality: -
Ambiance: 4.5

Overall Quality: 4.0

The food that Peperoni Pizzeria served at their UP Town Center store was just as good as I remembered it the first time I had their pizza (check out my original review here).

The limited edition dishes are definitely more upscale than their regular pizza offerings, but every delicious bite makes the more expensive price point worth it. You get what you pay for. I highly recommend the Foie Gras Pizza and the Funghi e Tartufo, two splendid dishes that will leave you craving for more.

If you love the limited edition dishes, don't forget to mention your favorite dish on the comments below. Enjoy!

    1. Grabe. This place looks gorgeous. Great interiors and the food are just so tempting to look at. I say reasonably priced too.
