Joey Pepperoni Pizzeria: An Improved Menu to Satisfy Your Pizza and Pasta Cravings

When the Joey Pepperoni branch in Bonifacio Global City closed down a few years back, my heart sank. It wasn't exactly the best pizza shop in the Metro, but Joey Pepperoni did serve great pizza and at affordable prices - this was way before Gino's Brick Oven Pizza began dominating the local pizza scene. I found out recently that Joey Pepperoni scaled back their stores and only two branches remain, one along Pioneer street, Mandaluyong and another in SM Mall of Asia.

They recently upgraded their menu and here are some of their delicious pizza and pasta creations that you just shouldn't miss...

The store along Pioneer Street is just how I remembered Joey Pepperoni a while back, with marble tables and sleek black chairs.

The Barbecue Wings (Php 260) is one of my favorite items on their menu. I loved the barbecue sauce slathered over juicy pieces of wings. It was spicy to the right extent, enough to keep you munching more and more wings.

Highly recommended since an order of spicy wings helps take away the umay factor that comes with eating a lot of carbs.

The Pepperoni Fries (Php 170) is another one of my favorites dishes, with loads of cheese coating crunchy french fries that remind me of our favorite Mcdonald Twister fries. It's topped with a few slices of pepperoni, but you're really getting this because of all the mozzarella cheesy goodness. Very tasty and highly recommended!

If you're into cream-based pasta, the Carbonara (Php 220) will certainly get your tastebuds going. It's a typical carbonara, with crunchy pieces of bacon to help cut through all the creaminess. I liked it, and I'm probably going to order this dish again the next I come around Joey Pepperoni.

The Joey's Supreme (Php 210) is great if you like pizza that has a lot in it, with slices of pepperoni, black olives, bacon, bell peppers, white onions, and mozzarella on a bed of tomato sauce. It's worth noting that Joey Pepperoni also upgraded their pizza oven and now all their pizza are cooked over brick-oven, so it's healthier and a lot less oily. What a great move!

Do note that all of Joey Pepperoni's pizzas are thick crust, so a few slices really fills you up quite fast.

The Four Cheese (Php 180) is my favorite pizza, despite the very simple appearance. It's a pizza loaded with mozzarella, white cheese, parmesan and cheddar with tomato sauce. I the richness of this pizza because I'm such a sucker for cheese!

The Banana Nutella Pizza (Php 140) is a great way to cap off a meal filled with carbs. There's a reason why there are now a lot of banana-nutella pizzas around the Metro, and that's because the combination works wonders! You really won't go wrong with ordering this.

If I were to go to Joey Pepperoni right now with a few friends, these items would exactly be what I would order right on the spot. It's been a while since I last ate in Joey Pepperoni, but it's just as good as I remember it. Drop by their stores and have a taste of these delicious dishes. Enjoy!
