The Northern Taste Coffee Co's New Website Makes It Easier to Get Fresh Coffee at Home

One of the glaring weaknesses of The Northern Taste Coffee Co during the last time I wrote an article about them was their website. Now, they fixed their website admirably by making it a lot more user-friendly so that it's easier for you to get freshly-roasted coffee beans delivered straight to your doorstep.

For a more detailed review of The Northern Taste Coffee Co, check out The Northern Taste Coffee Company: Affordable, Freshly-Roasted Philippine Coffee.

Let's go over some of the great aspects of their new website and just how easy it is now to place an order...

First of all, it's now quite easy to select coffee beans from their Coffee Bean Catalog. They offer a number of different local coffee options from the more refined Arabica coffee beans all the way to the grittier Robusta and Barako beans. They also have a selection of unique blends from a variety of beans.

They also sell green coffee beans in case you want to roast these beans on your own and they now have a tab where they sell coffee merchandise so that you can brew that perfect cup.

They raised their prices slightly (which is a bit understandable) but The Northern Taste Coffee Co still sells the cheapest freshly-roasted specialty coffee beans from those that I would recommend.

For each coffee bean you can choose the size (250g, 500g, and 1kg), roast level, and grind type. I personally would always go with whole beans but I understand not all of you would have a hand-grinder at home. You don't need a lot of expensive gear to brew a delicious cup, you only need these three. The grinder is probably the most important coffee equipment of the three.

For a quick guide on roast level and grind type, check out Eight Brewing Parameters You Should Tweak to Make That Cup of Coffee Even More Delicious.

It's also very easy to pay for your order, with an option for a bank payment or through Paypal. Delivery is free for Metro Manila and they only charge a small fee for deliveries to order parts of the country.

I was able to get my coffee beans the very next day (just make sure to make your payment before their 1pm cutoff), which was great. I can't wait to brew my favorite coffee beans, the Medium Roasted Sagada beans and the Medium Roasted Benguet beans. Another great upgrade is that they now include a roast date on every bag of coffee that they ship.
